Making like slow roast lamb with Kiehl's Magic Elixir Hair Reconstructing Concentrate
Ah Kiehl's you've done it again.
Always slightly left of centre, unique offerings with a point of difference, simple yet effective formulas. Like love of my body cream life - Creme de Corps.
Allow me to introduce the deliciously intriguingly named Kiehl's Magic Elixir - Hair Reconstructing Concentrate with Rosemary Leaf and Avocado Oil. I'm loving this hair oil as much as I'm loving slow roast roast spring lamb at the moment (clue: lots)
And that's what I feel like - a slow roasting spring lamb when I slick this pungent, aromatic oil on my hair and scalp before I slink into the sauna in the gym after a sweaty spin session.
And I tell you I have the old Greek men salivating , not by the sight of my highly couperose, highly sweaty, slightly saggy sauna bod but at the smell of rosemary infiltrating the sauna. I can see them licking their lips imagining they are about to tuck into their wive's Sunday lamb roast.
Between the heady rosemary oil aroma intensified by the sauna heat and the scalp massage I give myself while cooking, the whole ritual is just so uplifting and invigorating I feel 150% alive when I spring out of that sauna.
Plus the avocado, safflower, sweet almond oils and aloe leaf extract are much appreciated by my dry ends leaving me with soft, touchable strands. Rosemary is renowned for scalp and hair follicle stimulation so I hope that it is also working to compensate for my post-baby hair loss while it is at it.
Magic, magic stuff. I don't think I could get out of bed for a 6:15am spin class or crank that dial on that bike without the promise of my Magic Elixr sauna scalp treatment to keep me going afterwards.
Loving this one my lambs & now that I have opened this Kiehl's hair care Pandora's box, I want to venture further amongst their magical, enchanted wares xx
