Right so I am so in love with leather n lace at the moment. The delicateness and girliness of lace roughed up with a bit of rock n roll leather classic. I do think the lace has to be pretty and modest otherwise it may end up being more tramp less vamp and all a bit Kat from Eastenders. A cream high neck lace shift, shirt, dress or chemise under a biker jacket nails it, like above.
Now there is just no getting this oversized 39.6 week bump into anything resembling a lace shift (and with good reason) so I just have to get creative - a lace n leather style mani.

This is about as rock n roll as my life gets currently. Grrrrr.
Now I hadn't worn my leather jacket, thank you ASOS - it's the purchase that just keeps on giving...since we went to Port Arthur Tasmania's harrowing historic prison colony site, where all the British and Irish offenders were sent half-way across the world on prison ships to serve their sentences.
Part of the museum tour you had to pick a card which matched the real history of a convict and find your prison fate. I think my 2 of spades meant I was a 16 year old boy who stole something menial like a hat.
I found the card in the pocket when I was taking the swatches. Strangely it had a bustier on it, weirdness, that also kicked off a photoshoot to me belting out Motörhead's Ace of Spades track.
How very rock chick chic of me!!
Here you can see it live in action against a lycra is my new best friend clad leg on Vine.
