In the lead-up to Australia’s most well-timed public holiday, I’ve been fizzing over with more excitement than a sparkling shiraz. Partly because of the prospect of a public holiday just when it’s needed most to soothe away those mounting back-to-work January blues, and partly because it commemorates my Australian citizenship anniversary. The day this great big southern land I happily call home embraced me as its own.
Indulge me in this little moment of Australian awe if you will, because ours is a country of plenty, opportunity, uniqueness and diversity.
We just have to take a Captain Cook at the choice of amazing Aussie beauty brands available that are making an impact globally to know we are on to a good thing, not to mention the smorgasbord of native Australian beauty super-ingredients just waiting for us in the back o’ Bourke.
